Nadcap is the
leading worldwide cooperative
program of major companies designed to manage a cost-effective
consensus approach to special processes & products and provide
continuous improvement within the aerospace and defense industries.
The Nadcap mission is to provide international, unbiased, independent
manufacturing process and product assessments and certification
services for the purpose of adding value, reducing total cost, and
facilitating relationships between primes and suppliers. Nadcap process
and product certification is provided by Performance Review Institute(PRI).
PRI is the only auditing company approved by the aerospace industry to
offer official certification audits.

Most
companies seek Nadcap certification
because customers are asking for it and in some cases it is mandatory
for doing business. Most importantly, Nadcap specifications will ensure
that best practices are implemented in your operations. This increases

General quality systems (example: ISO 9000) are not enough to satisfy
requirements in chemical processing, heat treating, welding, coatings,
laboratory testing, NDT, painting, and other processes. Nadcap goes

Implementation
We
provide tailored consulting
services to meet your exact needs.
To begin
with, implementation of either
AS9100 or AC7004 (International Aerospace Quality Management Systems)
is often a required Nadcap prerequisite. We have been implementing
these aerospace Quality Management Systems with hundreds of clients for
over a decade. 100% of our clients have passed their first attempt. In
addition, we strive to ensure that your system will reflect the way you
do business without forcing unneeded changes to your operations. Expert
Resource can provide any combination of comprehensive training,
document development, internal auditing, consulting and corrective
actions.
ER will
conduct an on-site Nadcap Gap
Assessment to one or more of the Nadcap specifications. The result is a
report that will identify each finding, its interpretation specific to
your operations, and recommendations for corrective actions. This gas
assessment report will result in a tailored implementation plan.
Our tailored
implementation plan may include
on-site consulting and training, procedure and work instruction
development, customized training, internal auditing, Nadcap audit
preparation and assistance with NCR corrective actions.

Non-Conformance
Reporting with Root Cause & Corrective Action Training
ER provides a
one-day session of on-site
training for non-conformance reporting with root cause analysis and
corrective action training (NCR-RCCA). Lack of proper NCR-RCCA training
is the area of Nadcap compliance in which most companies will fail,
adding unforeseen costs to the program and build months of frustration.
To prevent Nadcap audit failures and build on the Nadcap Merit Program
(reducing auditing costs), ER highly recommends that all Top
Management, Quality Personnel, and Nadcap-related process personnel
attend this one-day training session. Each session will allow a maximum
of 20 trainees. Nadcap has a very stringent and particular format for
NCR-RCCA. Nadcap requires that teams of employees work together on each
NCR-RCCA found during the PRI audit. Therefore, teams should be trained
together, have a common approach and unified expectations.
